We are seeking a Business & Operations Manager to be a pivotal partner to the Managing Director, streamlining business processes, driving operational efficiency, and providing hands-on support across multiple business functions. This role is critical to enabling Stretch 365’s continued growth and excellence in delivery.
Role Overview
This role requires a dynamic professional with experience in business operations, process optimization, stakeholder management, and executive-level support. You will work closely with the Managing Director and leadership team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while contributing to the strategic direction of the business.
You will be responsible for a broad set of functions including administration, project tracking, lead generation, event management, tender responses, partner portal management, people coordination, and business reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Administration & Financial Management
- Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Manage invoicing processes and liaise with the finance team to track payments and accounts.
- Handle vendor and procurement management, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Maintain business records, compliance documentation, and internal reporting.
2. Project Tracking & Operational Oversight
- Track ongoing projects and business initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintain status dashboards and monitor key project milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
3. Lead Generation & Business Development Support
- Support lead generation efforts by tracking inbound and outbound sales pipelines.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage business development opportunities.
- Assist in prospect outreach, client engagement, and marketing campaign execution.
4. Conference & Event Planning + Execution
- Plan and manage Stretch 365’s participation in Gartner conferences and industry events.
- Work with internal teams to ensure booth setup, branding, and marketing materials are aligned.
- Coordinate with event organizers, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage speaker sessions, lead capture strategies, and post-event follow-ups.
5. Tender & Proposal Management
- Lead the preparation and submission of government and enterprise tenders, RFPs, and proposals.
- Collaborate with technical SMEs and leadership to develop compelling submissions.
- Maintain a repository of past proposals and compliance documentation.
- Track tender opportunities in public and private sector markets.
6. Microsoft & IBM Partner Portal Administration
- Manage Microsoft and IBM Partner Portals, ensuring compliance with partnership requirements.
- Track and renew partner certifications, competencies, and partner benefits.
- Leverage partner programs to maximize business opportunities and funding options.
7. Online Presence & Digital Brand Management
- Oversee Stretch 365’s website updates, social media strategy, and content publication.
- Align online presence with company branding and business objectives.
- Track engagement metrics and propose improvements to enhance visibility.
8. People & Resource Coordination
- Support onboarding processes for new team members, including equipment allocation, workspace setup, and induction schedules.
- Manage staff logistics, including timesheet coordination, leave tracking, and contractor onboarding.
- Liaise with recruitment partners to support hiring needs.
9. Internal Process Improvement & Risk Support
- Review and optimize business processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- Assist with internal risk and compliance activities, including audit prep, insurance renewals, and governance documentation.
10. Executive & Commercial Support
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Managing Director, including meeting preparation, stakeholder communications, and reporting.
- Assist with the preparation and management of contracts, MSAs, NDAs, and SoWs.
- Liaise with legal and external advisors when required.
11. Data Analysis & Business Reporting
- Collate and analyze business performance data to generate internal reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Track operational KPIs and assist in preparing board or leadership packs.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in business operations, project coordination, or administration.
- Experience in financial management, invoicing, and CRM tools.
- Knowledge of government tender response processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft and/or IBM Partner Programs (preferred).
